Course Description
Yoga for Hypermobility is a 6-week online course designed for people with hypermobile bodies—or anyone curious about how to practice yoga with more stability, safety, and self-awareness. Whether you’ve been hurt in yoga classes, felt unseen in traditional fitness spaces, or simply want to enjoy movement without fear, this course offers a nourishing, empowering path forward.
Led by Jamie Terry and Bo Campot, this course centers the needs of people who often fall through the cracks in mainstream yoga. You’ll learn how to customize your yoga practice to suit your body’s unique connective tissue landscape—without shame, strain, or fear of injury.
This is not just another yoga class. It’s a space for exploration, and community. Through embodied lectures, movement practices, journaling prompts, and live discussions, you’ll discover how to build strength and stability, develop your body’s yes/no compass, and reconnect with the joy of mindful movement.
Perfect for those with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, or undiagnosed “bendiness,” Yoga for Hypermobility invites you to reclaim yoga on your own terms. You’ll walk away with the confidence and tools to modify—or rather, enrich—your yoga practice in any setting.
This course is for people who believe there has to be a better way—and are ready to find it.

For much of my life, I believed that the ways my body and energy differed from those around me were signs of a personal failing. It wasn’t until a few years ago that I discovered I have Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder (HSD). This was a turning point. I’ve been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for more than a decade. My own diagnosis led me to reimagine everything I thought I knew about yoga, strength training, and movement.
I co-created this course because I realized that when I attend a yoga class, I feel safe and stable. Nobody taught me how to tailor my practice to meet the needs of my hypermobile body. This is something I have figured out by combining professional knowledge with firsthand experience and I want to share it with you.
This course is designed to empower you with tools, self-compassion, and a sense of stability on and off the mat. You don’t have to navigate this alone—and I’d be honored to guide you.
Jamie Terry is a Yoga Alliance–certified yoga teacher with over a decade of experience and more than 1,500 teaching hours. She specializes in anatomy and physiology for yoga teacher trainings and works one-on-one as a therapeutic movement coach. With certifications in functional movement, biomechanics, and advanced breath techniques, Jamie brings a deep, evidence-informed understanding of body mechanics and mindful movement to her teaching. Living with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder herself, she integrates personal insight with professional expertise to create safe, inclusive, and empowering spaces.

Course ContributorI know firsthand what it’s like to live in a hypermobile body. My life has been a journey to understand how to balance the chronic pain, allergies, hypersensitivity, and nervous system dysregulation that can accompany hypermobility. Through studying movement and healing I have found ways to manage my symptoms and move through the world with more stability and joy — and I want to share that with you.
I hold a master's and doctorate in East Asian medicine. My graduate studies included anatomy, physiology, herbal medicine, acupuncture, bodywork, cranial sacral and biomechanics. These modalities all inform my approach to yoga for hypermobility.
Hypermobility doesn’t go away—but with the right tools and knowledge, it can be managed. I’m here to help you move with more ease, stability, and confidence.
